I am watching the Helvetica documentary, a few months after its release.

Beautiful typeface.

04.10.08 Got the iPhone!

O2 were very nice and allowed me to get an upgrade three months before it was due.

Initial thoughts: a bit on the heavy side and a bit larger than my old phone, but it still shits all over every other phone/mp3 player I've ever had - and it's a computer!

Love it!

On a different note, I've added bits and pieces to this website, as well as sorted out the CSS style switcher and relevant stylesheets.

Still to do: finetune the secondary stylesheets.

13.08.08 Reason number 345 (or something) I love the Mac

Hit F5 or the Esc key while inside a text-field or in a properly written OS X app and watch it come up with a list of words beginning with what you've typed so far grabbed from Dictionary.app. Pure genius!

And don't get me started on the iPhone that my flat mate just bought that he's let me play with a bit.

Five more months of my contract left... I think I'm going to cry.

02.08.08 Watchmen

Been watching the new Watchmen teaser trailer on apple.com

Don't think I've ever been so excited about a film; everything seems perfect.

A few minuscule gripes so far: Ozymandias looked better in the gold and purple; I've never been a big fan of making the costumes black for movies (yeah I know, that purple looks girlie in real life), but, what the hell, everything else looks perfect!

Especially Dr. Manhattan god-like in Vietnam, Niteowl's ship, the attempt on Veidt's life, Rorschach's voice...

I'm genuinely jumping around in excitement like a little kid!

One, admittedly major, bummer is the official website. The whole thing is Flash, takes forever to load on my old-ish iBook G3 and you have to go through the annoying, long-winded, no-personality-having intro. Could have been so good if they had a Watchmen fan design and run it.

There' a little break in regular (admittedly infrequent) transmission.

In the meantime, why don't you web-related folk do something useful? For one thing it makes for an interesting read, moreso by having as many respondents as possible.
